In This Role, You have the opportunity To:

• Design, implement and operate large-scale, high volume, high performance data structure for analytics and data science. 
• Implement data ingestion routines, maintenance, optimization and further development of our software 
• Collaborate with with our international Java & SQL team to help adopt best practices in data system creation, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentacion  
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions for the automotive industry

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science-Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or 7+ years industry experience
• Demonstrated strength in SQL knowledge, especially in MySQL and query performance tuning skills.
• Experienced in building data products incrementally and integrating managing data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrated Knowledge in: Java, JDBC, Eclipse, SVN, JSP, HTML, Struts
• Language skills:  English and/or German

Your profile:

• Desirable professional experience as MySQL database developer
• Enthusiasm to work with the automotive industry, by providing solutions and implementation of new technologies.
• Strong analytical understanding of data and numbers
• Commitment of working as part of a team in a dynamic environment
